Before the Lok Sabha elections, Gaurav Vallabh, who recently joined BJP from Congress, remarked without naming Jairam Ramesh that the manifesto has been prepared by someone who has never contested even for a class monitor's position. Vallabh said that back in college, Ramesh defended the party as a spokesperson. Even today, he's in charge of party communications, while ex-central ministers' assistants are running the show at Congress.

According to news agency ANI, Vallabh targeted Ramesh heavily, saying if the manifesto had any strength or competence in its ideas, Congress wouldn't be limited to just 52 seats in the Lok Sabha. Vallabh highlighted the absence of any ideological commitment or dedication to the party from the Congress leader, whose only worry is to preserve his Rajya Sabha seat.

Indirectly Targets Jairam Ramesh

The BJP leader claimed that Ramesh, who had never fought for a class monitor's position, merely calls on a few journalists to get copies published. Furthermore, Vallabh sarcastically mentioned that some of the Congress candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections don’t even realize that Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are separate states, indicating the level of awareness among Congress candidates.

Vallabh Lists Congress's Shortcomings

The BJP politician shared that he joined Congress hoping it would embrace ambitious ideas from new leaders, but alleged that Congress sees such fresh thoughts as a hindrance. Vallabh criticized Congress for being unable to comprehend issues troubling its workers and voters and for failing to resonate with the aspirations and direction of a 'new India'.

'I Cannot Stand with Sinners'

Vallabh expressed his inability to stand alongside "sinners" who declined to participate in the inauguration event of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It's noted that on January 22, Congress refused to attend the Ram Temple 'Prana Pratistha' ceremony, criticizing it as BJP's "political program".

Gaurav Vallabh Joined BJP on April 4

Vallabh joined BJP on April 4. In his letter to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Vallabh labeled the party as "directionless" and cited reasons like the caste census for his exit. He added that he couldn't spend his days slinging mud at 'wealth creators' or chant 'anti-sanatan' slogans. At the time of his departure from Congress, he tweeted that he felt uneasy with the directionless path Congress was taking, being unable to oppose Sanatan ideals or insult wealth creators. He was resigning from all the positions and primary membership of the Congress party.
