Furthermore, the BJP has changed its nominee for Ghaziabad, replacing two-time MP General V.K. Singh with Atul Garg. However, Gen. V.K. Singh had earlier announced on social media his decision not to contend in the 2024 elections. Note that UP will conduct voting over seven phases for its 80 Lok Sabha seats.
BJP Nominates Naveen Jindal
In a notable move, the BJP's list names candidates for four Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. The intriguing inclusions of Naveen Jindal and Ranjit Chautala, who had joined the BJP merely an hour before the list's release, stand out. BJP has placed Naveen Jindal in the electoral fray from Kurukshetra, pitched Ranjit Chautala from Hisar, Mohan Lal Badoli for Sonipat, and Arvind Kumar Sharma for Rohtak.
