BJP's New Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Bansuri Swaraj was injured during her campaign activities. She suffered a minor eye injury and was spotted campaigning with her eye bandaged. She shared information about the incident through social media. Earlier, BJP's Chandni Chowk candidate Praveen Khandelwal was also injured with a leg fracture but continued to campaign despite it.
Late at night on 'X', Bansuri disclosed that she got a slight injury to her eye during Tuesday's campaign after which she sought treatment from a doctor in the Moti Nagar area. She also expressed her gratitude towards the doctor for the treatment.
Despite the eye injury, Bansuri continued her outreach to the public. On the first day of Navratri, she participated in a 'Mata Ki Chowki' event held at the Sanatan Dharma Temple in Ramesh Nagar. There, she also worshiped Goddess Durga.
