Tragic End to Birthday Celebrations Due to Cake

Investigation underway after a birthday celebration turns deadly in Patiala.

An alarming incident has emerged from Patiala, Punjab, where a birthday celebration turned to mourning when a girl died supposedly after consuming a cake. Upon receiving the news, the police took custody of the body and sent it for an autopsy. Investigators are now probing the origins of the cake.

'Cake was ordered online'

However, the hospital pronounced the girl dead. Relatives claim that the tragedy was caused by an online cake order, prompting the police to file a case based on their statements. Accusations have been made against the health department for not taking any action, angering the family.

The Police Statement on the Incident

The family insists that the cake delivered to their house should also be examined. Meanwhile, the delivery person stated that the cake was not from the store they picked it up from. The store owner categorically denied the cake came from their establishment. Officer Surinder Singh from the police expressed that the investigation is focusing on tracing the source of the cake, following which further action will be taken.
