Man-Eating Leopard Captured in Bijnor, 28 Lives Lost, Villagers Terrorized for Weeks

A man-eating leopard has been captured in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. For several weeks, residents were living in fear due to the leopard. Now that it has been captured, people are finally feeling relieved. So far, 28 people have lost their lives to leopard attacks.

Residents of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, who had been living in fear due to a man-eating leopard, can now breathe a sigh of relief as the forest department team has successfully captured the leopard. So far, 28 people in Bijnor have lost their lives due to leopard attacks. The fear among villagers was increasing day by day.

The situation was so dire that after a woman's death due to a leopard attack, the villagers halted a train by sitting on the railway tracks. This incident prompted swift action from the forest department and district administration, who set up traps in the affected areas.

Today, a leopard was trapped in one of the forest department's cages in the village of Ram Nagar, located in the Nagina Range of Afzalgarh police station area, Bijnor. The forest department had been receiving continuous reports of leopard sightings from Ram Nagar. To capture the leopard, a cage was set up in the area, and today, the leopard was successfully caught. As soon as the villagers heard the news, they gathered to see the captured leopard.

The capture of the leopard has brought great relief to the local inhabitants. The fear of the leopard among the villagers has lessened. The forest department has successfully conducted the rescue operation. Speaking to Aaj Tak, a forest officer mentioned that the recurring leopard attacks in Bijnor were primarily on those who ventured into the forest to gather fodder for their livestock.

The forest officer advised that the best way to avoid leopard attacks is to make loud noises before working in the fields. They suggested playing a ringtone or loud music on a mobile phone to alert the leopards. The forest department team has now captured the leopard and is transporting it to the AMangarh Range of Kaharpur Forest Complex.
