It has been reported that Omprakash (22) had been missing since Thursday; his body was found discarded at the outskirts of the village on Friday morning. The devastated family, in tears, has prompted police action with their complaint, leading to an official case registration and investigation.
A 22-year-old victim of brutal gunfire
The fatal incident occurred in the Imamganj police jurisdiction of the Paliganj subdivision within the Mughal village. Local law enforcement and forensic teams promptly gathered at the scene to collect evidence. Villagers say that Omprakash previously worked at Flipkart. Recently unemployed, he had left home on Thursday and had not returned until his bloodied body was discovered on Friday morning. The assailants had shot him in the head.
Police register the case and commence investigation
SI Deepak Kumar shared that early morning information regarding a young man's murder arrived from Mughal village. The police retrieved a homemade gun at the murder site and admitted that the motives behind the murder remain unknown.
