A significant development emerges from Bihar. Tensions escalate as the controversy grows over alleged derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother during an RJD rally. This has drawn pointed criticism from Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party, towards RJD and Tejashwi Yadav.
Prashant Kishor asserted, 'I've consistently stated that the character of Tejashwi Yadav and the RJD cannot change. People question why I hold Tejashwi accountable. The leaders who were influential during Lalu Yadav's era remain entrenched in the party today.'
He emphasized that leaders accused of presiding over 'jungle raj' are still active within RJD. Thus, the party's character, philosophy, and operational methods remain unaltered.
The BJP has alleged that derogatory remarks were made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother during RJD's 'Bihar Rights March.' These accusations target the rally led by opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav. However, the RJD has categorically denied these claims, dismissing them as a ploy by the BJP.
BJP's Counterattack: 'Tejashwi Raises Morale of Cadres'
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary shared a video on social media, stating that Tejashwi Yadav has once again tarnished Bihar’s culture. He claimed that RJD cadres used offensive language at the rally, with Tejashwi encouraging them. Samrat Choudhary labeled it a mockery of democracy, expressing confidence that the mothers and sisters of Bihar will surely respond to this mindset.
Statements from Vijay Sinha and Nityanand Rai
Another Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, also accused Tejashwi Yadav of permitting abusive language against the Prime Minister's mother. He took this as evidence of RJD's mentality and ideology. Furthermore, Union Minister Nityanand Rai remarked that Tejashwi and his associates have become skilled in using foul language, a result of frustration and disappointment as they believe the public has rejected them.
