Seat division for the much-anticipated Lok Sabha elections within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of Bihar has been disclosed. Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest in five constituencies. BJP's Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde announced the seat sharing in a press conference with NDA leaders, declaring that a consensus was reached among all allied parties.

As per the agreed formula, BJP is set to contest in 17 constituencies and JDU in 16. Notably, Pashupati Paras' Lok Janshakti Party did not receive any seats. Paras hinted at dissent recently, expressing that he still has options open.

The BJP has earmarked the following seats for the election: West Champaran, East Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Maharajganj, Saran, Ujiarpur, Begusarai, Nawada, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Ara, Buxar, Sasaram, and Araria.

The JDU has been allocated seats such as: Valmiki Nagar, Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Siwan, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Nalanda, Jehanabad, and Sheohar.

Chirag Paswan is set to contest elections in five seats: Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria, and Jamui.

Noteworthy is Jitan Ram Manjhi's party contesting in Gaya and Upendra Kushwaha's party in Karakat.

Raju Tiwari, a leader from Paswan's party, assured that they are poised not only to win all five allotted seats but also aim for a sweeping victory across all 40 seats in Bihar.

Together with NDA's robust support, BJP leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary sets his sights on conquering all 40 seats, reinforcing the alliance with Jitan Ram Manjhi and Kushwaha's RLM.

Elections in Bihar will be conducted in seven phases on the following dates: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1. Voting for four seats will occur in the first phase, followed by five seats in each of the next four phases, and eight seats in the last two phases.

Reminiscing the spectacular victory in 2019, the NDA comprising BJP, JDU, and LJP, clinched 39 out of 40 seats, with the opposition alliance securing only a solitary victory in Kishanganj where Congress had the upper hand.
