A video of RJD leader and Lalu Yadav's son, Tej Pratap Yadav, has surfaced. It shows him at his residence in Patna during Holi festivities, commanding a police officer to perform a dance. Tej Pratap is seen saying that the officer would be suspended if he doesn't dance. Subsequently, the uniformed officer starts dancing. This incident has ignited political debates. JDU and BJP have launched sharp critiques against RJD and Tej Pratap Yadav.

Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha remarked that RJD's culture involves flouting laws, mocking constitutional officeholders, repeatedly disrespecting the Constitution, and demoralizing the public. The ideology and values of those associated with RJD remain unchanged.
BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain commented that Tej Pratap Yadav told his bodyguard to dance and warned of suspension if he didn't. However, Tej Pratap lacks the authority to suspend anyone. This is Nitish Kumar's government, not a regime of lawlessness. Such language is unfortunate. RJD leaders need to evolve.
JDU's national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad stated that the era of lawlessness is over, yet Lalu Yadav's heir threatens a police officer about the consequences of not following dance orders. Bihar has transformed. Whether it's Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, or any family member of Lalu Yadav, they must realize that there's no place for such actions in the changing environment of Bihar.
On Tej Pratap Yadav's video, Congress MP Tariq Anwar commented, 'What can I say about it? Everyone celebrates Holi in their own way.'
