As the Bihar legislative elections loom, senior Congress MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh has spoken out about the Grand Alliance's chosen face for Chief Minister. He asserted, 'There is no other option. Tejashwi Yadav will be the Grand Alliance's Chief Minister face.'

Highlighting the unity of the Grand Alliance and the prominent leadership of Tejashwi Yadav in the eyes of the public, Singh emphasized that his name symbolizes progress and change in Bihar. He also stressed that all ally parties should unite to support Tejashwi Yadav as the CM candidate.

Singh's statement comes at a time of heightened electoral campaigns and political activity in Bihar. He made it clear that no other leader within the Grand Alliance is being considered for the role of Chief Minister, and that the alliance will enter the elections strongly under Tejashwi Yadav's leadership.

Following this announcement, it is anticipated that internal doubts about leadership within the Grand Alliance may diminish, allowing greater focus on electoral strategies.

Political Climate Heats Up Over Pen Distribution

Meanwhile, political tension in Bihar has increased over Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav's 'pen distribution' initiative. In Begusarai, Union Minister Giriraj Singh mocked Tejashwi, claiming he is not distributing pens but rather tossing them away. He quipped that Tejashwi should first learn the proper use of a pen before advising others on education. Giriraj also remarked that those guilty in theft cases see thieves everywhere.

Giriraj Singh responded to Tejashwi's accusation of the NDA distributing weapons, saying that Tejashwi is following in his father's footsteps. He insisted that the son is acting just like the father did. According to him, critics always see opponents as guilty.

What Did Mrityunjay Tiwari Say?

In response, the RJD hit back. Party spokesman Mrityunjay Tiwari said that the massive crowds during the Bihar Adhikar Yatra have unnerved opponents. He revealed that Tejashwi Yadav's campaign is now unstoppable and will strive towards victory. Tiwari also pointed out that in the Mokama area, where AK-47s were once handed out, Tejashwi distributed pens, sending a message of education and change.
