Sources reveal that both Lalu and Rabri Devi were dissatisfied with the functioning of Tejashwi's team during the election campaign. The situation worsened after the results were declared. Rohini Acharya directly told Tejashwi that Sanjay Yadav and his entire team were to blame for the loss. Although Tejashwi dismissed the charges, the confrontation didn't end there.
Questioning Sumit's Appointment as Tejashwi's PA
Rohini accused Tejashwi of being completely under Sanjay Yadav's influence, thereby placing the blame for the defeat on him. She also questioned why Sanjay's brother-in-law Sumit was appointed as Tejashwi's personal assistant.

The dispute intensified when Rohini objected to the interference by Sanjay's close associates, Rameez and Adnan. Rohini immediately attempted to leave home, but Rabri Devi convinced her otherwise, leading to her departure to Delhi the next day.

One day post-election, Rohini announced her decision to distance herself from politics and family via a heartfelt message on social media. She expressed that she was abused, humiliated, and even allegedly threatened with a slipper. She wrote, 'A daughter, a sister, a mother was humiliated yesterday. They tried to crush my self-esteem. I did not compromise my dignity, nor did I abandon the truth, and for this, I suffered humiliation.'
She added, 'Yesterday, a helpless daughter was forced to leave her crying parents and sisters. They tore me away from my family, leaving me orphaned.'
Living in Singapore with her husband, Dr. Rohini Acharya ran for the Saran Lok Sabha seat last year and faced defeat. RJD MP Sanjay Yadav and Rameez, connected to a political family in Uttar Pradesh, remain silent on her allegations.
Tej Pratap's Long-standing Opposition to Sanjay Yadav
Tej Pratap has consistently opposed Sanjay Yadav. On several occasions, he has compared Sanjay to Jai Chand, implying betrayal. Tej Pratap has long asserted that as long as individuals like Sanjay Yadav are close to Tejashwi, the party cannot prosper. After being ousted from the family and RJD, Tej Pratap has repeatedly targeted Sanjay Yadav.
BJP Targets Family Dispute
The BJP has turned this entire controversy into an opportunity to question the RJD and Lalu family. Their leaders claim it exemplifies an 'anti-woman and patriarchal mentality'. BJP leader Amit Malviya stated, 'Rohini donated a kidney to save her father, but Lalu favored his son and disrespected his daughter. This is the true face of the Lalu family.'
