Bihar's journalist Bhim Singh Bhavesh has significantly elevated the state's prestige nation-wide through his remarkable social services. The distinguished journalist and social worker from Ara, Dr. Bhim Singh Bhavesh, has been nominated for the prestigious Padma Shri Award. Bhavesh, a journalist with a local daily in Ara, will be honored with this distinguished award. He has already been invited to attend the Republic Day Parade on the Kartavya Path in Delhi as a guest of honor on January 26. Announced on January 25, Bhim Singh Bhavesh from the Bhojpur district is among the two people from Bihar selected for the Padma Shri, the other being Nirmala Devi.

Highlight in Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat'

Bhavesh has already received an invitation letter via Prasar Bharati in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself mentioned Bhim Singh in his 'Mann Ki Baat' radio program. During the 110th episode, the Prime Minister highlighted the significant contributions of Bhim Singh Bhavesh, especially in uplifting the Musahar community in Bihar's Bhojpur. Musahar is a highly deprived community, and Bhavesh has dedicated efforts towards their children's education.

To date, Bhavesh has enrolled over 8,000 Musahar children into schools and has established a substantial library. Through this library, over 125 children have received the NMMS scholarship. His initiatives have also provided caretaking benefits to nearly 100 orphaned children.

Bhim Singh Bhavesh Expresses Gratitude to PM

In a phone conversation, Bhim Singh Bhavesh shared that he has left for Delhi to attend the Republic Day Parade, having received the invitation. He received a phone call informing him about the announcement of his nomination for the Padma Shri. Later in the evening, the Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed his nomination for the award. Bhavesh expressed immense joy and gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recognizing nearly two decades of his work towards uplifting the Musahar community. The Prime Minister acknowledged his efforts in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, and further invited him to the Republic Day celebrations. Bhavesh expressed his determination to continue his dedicated work.
