Lucknow: BDS Student Commits Suicide with Headphones On, Was a Fan of Online Games; Friends Received Notification

A BDS student in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. He was wearing headphones at the time, and his friends received a game notification. The student was an avid online gamer. After receiving the information, police arrived at the scene to inspect the incident. An investigation is currently underway.

According to the information, Divyansh, a 23-year-old BDS second-year student at BBD University, who lived in Afridi Nagar, Indira Nagar police station area in Lucknow, went to his room late at night saying he needed to be woken up for university in the morning.

When his mother went to wake him up, the door was locked. Upon opening the door, she found Divyansh hanging near the window with a noose. The family was thrown into turmoil, and he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Police Searching for Reasons Behind Incident

Divyansh was wearing headphones and was known for playing online games. His friends even received a game notification. The family is in mourning and is unable to comprehend the reason behind the incident. His mother worked in the health department, while his father had passed away a few years ago.

Once informed, the police arrived at the scene for inspection. They have taken the body into custody for post-mortem and have initiated an investigation to find out the cause behind this suicide.
