A shocking case of gang rape of a minor girl has emerged from Banda, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that two youths first blackmailed and then kidnapped the minor. They took her to a deserted location and committed the heinous crime one after the other. Currently, the police have registered a case under serious sections based on the complaint and have arrested both accused.
The victim's family from a village in Banda district explained that their daughters attended a local event. The family accused two young men from a neighboring village of blackmail. When the girls were returning home, the youths forcibly took one of the daughters into their car and kidnapped her before assaulting her.

The accused continued to pressurize for conversion
In addition, the accused continued to pressure for religious conversion. Somehow, the daughter escaped their clutches and informed her family of the ordeal. The mother took the minor to the police station and lodged a complaint. The family of the victim is demanding strict action against the perpetrators.

The police officer stated that an incident of rape against a minor has come to light in the police station area. Immediate cases under POCSO and related sections have been registered, and both accused have been arrested and sent to jail. The victim's medical examination is being conducted along with the recording of her court statement for further legal proceedings.
