The mother of the minor girl who was the victim of the Ayodhya rape case met with CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday, August 2. During this meeting, CM Yogi assured stringent action against SP leader Moeed Khan and other accused. Moeed Khan is named in the rape case of a 12-year-old girl. CM Yogi himself raised this issue in the assembly.
In fact, in the assembly the previous day, while speaking on the issue of law and order, CM Yogi reflected on the reality faced by the Samajwadi Party. He said that the person committing the rape in Ayodhya is closely associated with an SP MP (Awdhesh Prasad), but the party has taken no action against him yet. Can such a matter be taken lightly?

CM Yogi targeted the Samajwadi Party and the current SP MP from Ayodhya, Awdhesh Prasad on this matter. CM Yogi said the rape accused is affiliated with the Samajwadi Party and committed an atrocity against a girl from a backward community. However, no action has been taken by SP so far, despite the accused being a close associate of the SP MP.

This rape case took place in the Pura Kalandar police station area of Ayodhya. The accused made an obscene video of the girl after the rape and blackmailed her for a long time while continuing their heinous acts. The issue came to light when the victim was found to be two months pregnant.
The victim's family filed a complaint with the police, but it is alleged that no action was initially taken. Later, when members of VHP, Bajrang Dal, and Nishad Party expressed their outrage, the police arrested SP's Bhadrasa Nagar president Moeed Khan and another individual. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) also issued a notice to the police regarding this incident.
