Ayodhya Rape: Akhilesh Demands DNA Test, Mayawati Questions SP Government’s Actions

An incident of rape involving a minor has emerged in Ayodhya. Following the incident, a wave of accusations and counter-accusations has begun. While the BJP is busy holding the Samajwadi Party accountable, the Samajwadi Party has also made some appeals to the government. The SP chief stated that a DNA test should be conducted on the accused to determine the veracity of the allegations.

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav has stated that those accused in the Ayodhya rape case should undergo a DNA test and be brought to justice. Yadav emphasized that the issue should not be politicized with just allegations but instead ensure that the guilty are punished according to the law. However, BSP Chief Mayawati questioned Yadav, saying, "How many such tests were conducted during the SP government?

Akhilesh Yadav further said that if the DNA test proves the accusations false, the officials should not be spared. The Samajwadi Party also posted on social media demanding the accused’s DNA test, and punishment should be decided accordingly.

Appeal for 2 Million Rupees Aid for Victim

The SP suggested providing immediate financial assistance of 2 million rupees to the victim. The party also accused the government of focusing on tarnishing SP's image instead of helping the victim.

SP leader and Leader of Opposition in UP Legislative Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey met with the victim's family. He appealed to the state government for appropriate action and thorough investigation to reveal the truth.

BSP Chief Mayawati also reacted to the case. In an official post, she said, "The tough action taken against the accused in the Ayodhya gangrape case by the UP government is appropriate, but what should be made of SP's demand for a DNA test? SP must explain how many such tests were conducted during their governance.

Mayawati expressed concerns over rising crime and law and order issues in UP, especially regarding women's safety, citing incidents in Ayodhya and Lucknow. She urged the government to take stringent measures above caste and political lines.

Ayodhya MP Avadhesh Prasad called the incident shameful and heinous, urging the strictest legal action. He mentioned that no innocent person should be trapped, and no guilty should be spared. Regarding a photo with the accused, Prasad said that political figures often get clicked with the public and that SP stands with the victim's family fully, demanding justice and assistance. He also criticized BJP for politicizing the issue.

A case of an alleged rape of a 12-year-old minor girl has emerged in Ayodhya. It is alleged that SP leader Moeid Khan is involved, often seen with Ayodhya MPs. The accused has been arrested. Reports claim that Khan committed the rape and recorded it. Allegedly, Khan's associate Raju Khan is also involved, with accusations of gang-rape over two and a half months, which came to light when the victim became pregnant.

Nishad Party Chief Sanjay Nishad said, "Akhilesh's PDA family is false. Why hasn't the accused been expelled from the party? If needed, we will protest in front of Akhilesh's residence and party office. The Nishad Party will raise the issue from the streets to the parliament. The accused should be hanged.
