Process for DNA Testing of Ayodhya Rape Accused Begins... Victim's Fetus Sample Also Taken

The formal process of conducting DNA tests in the gang rape case of a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, has begun. The investigating officer says that the DNA testing process will be completed once permission is obtained from the court.

The police in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, have initiated the paperwork to conduct DNA sampling in the rape case involving a minor. Once they receive permission from the court, the police will conduct DNA tests on the accused, Muid Khan and Raju Khan. Additionally, the police have taken a sample from the victim's womb, who is undergoing treatment at KGMU. The investigating officer stated that the DNA testing process would commence once court permission is obtained.

The distressing gang rape incident occurred in the Pura Kalander precinct of Ayodhya. The accused reportedly filmed the assault on a minor girl and continued blackmailing and raping her for a prolonged period. The horrific crime came to light when the victim became two months pregnant.

The victim's family filed a complaint with the police, alleging that no immediate action was taken. Later, when members of Hindu organizations and the Nishad Party expressed their anger, the police arrested Muid Khan, the Samajwadi Party's Bhadarsa town president, and Raju, who worked at his bakery.

The victim's mother met with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on August 2nd. During this meeting, the CM assured strict action against SP leader Muid Khan and other accused individuals. Consequently, actions were taken against the precinct in-charge and the outpost in-charge. An investigation into the accused's properties has begun.

A bulldozer action was carried out on the properties of the rape accused, Mohammad Muid, marking the first time such action was taken against him. Muid has been a loyal member of the Samajwadi Party for the past 20 years. An FIR was filed against Mohammad Rashid, the chairman of Bhadarsa town council, who has threatened the victim's family. Muid was once close to Rashid's father, Mohammad Ahmed, the former chairman of Bhadarsa town council. Muid was regarded as Rashid's closest associate.
