In a 90-minute video recorded before his suicide, Atul Subhash accused his wife and her family of being responsible for his tragic decision. In investigating the matter, a Bangalore police team has reached Jaunpur. Upon learning this, Atul Subhash's in-laws locked their house and left under the cover of night.
Nikita Singhania's mother, Nisha Singhania, and her brother fled at night, locking their home. A video of Atul's mother-in-law avoiding media questions surfaced, where she was seen pleading in front of reporters but declined to answer any questions before leaving on a bike.

Nikita Singhania's mother and brother reside in Khowamandi, only 100 meters from Jaunpur City Police Station. They run a clothing store there. Upon hearing that Bangalore police had arrived in Jaunpur, they thought it best to flee their home.

Before this, Nikita's mother spoke with Aaj Tak, dismissing all allegations of harassment against her daughter and family. She stated, "These accusations are baseless. I will present all the evidence to the world. Atul only vented his frustration on us. My daughter could never drive anyone to suicide."
Atul also made serious accusations against a Jaunpur judge
In his video made before suicide, Atul accused a Jaunpur judge of harassment and bribery demands. He claimed the judge's clerk required bribes for court dates. He accused the Principal Family Court Judge of pressuring him to pay 30 million for maintenance and additionally demanding a five lakh bribe, promising to settle the case by December. Such grave charges were made by Atul in his video.

In the video, Atul expressed that after his death, his wife and her family should not be allowed near his body. He implored his relatives not to perform his last rites until those responsible for his alleged harassment are punished. He urged them to scatter his ashes outside the court in a gutter if justice was not served.

Suicide committed in Bangalore on December 9
On December 9, Atul Subhash hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his Bangalore bedroom. The T-shirt he wore during the suicide bore the message 'Justice Is Due.' In a 90-minute video and a 24-page letter, Atul blamed his wife, in-laws, and judicial system for his decision. He married Nikita Singhania in 2019 a child was born from their union. Post two years of marriage, his wife filed nine cases against him, including dowry harassment, father's murder, and unnatural sexual abuse. Atul alleged demands of 30 million to settle these cases.
Case registered against wife and three others in suicide incident
In the suicide case of Atul Subhash, Bangalore police registered a complaint against his wife Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law Nisha Singhania, brother-in-law Anurag Singhania, and uncle-in-law Sushil Singhania. The complaint was filed by Atul's brother, Vikas Kumar, at Bangalore's Marathahalli Police Station. Based on this, the police have initiated cases under sections 108 (abetment of suicide), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS).
