Stripped of his parliamentary position, Rahul Gandhi continues to take aim at the BJP over the Adani issue. On Saturday, he tweeted a picture of a wordplay puzzle. Through this cryptic message, Rahul took a jab at the likes of Gulam Nabi Azad, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiran Kumar Reddy, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Anil Antony in relation to Adani. In response, Assam's CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has shot back at Rahul Gandhi.

Himanta Biswa Sarma retweeted Rahul Gandhi, saying, "It was our decency that we never asked you where you've hidden the ill-gotten gains from the Bofors and National Herald scandals. And how you repeatedly allowed Ottavio Quattrocchi to escape from the clutches of Indian law. Now we will meet in court."
Who is Ottavio Quattrocchi
Ottavio Quattrocchi was a well-known Italian businessman accused of bribery in the Bofors scandal during the Rajiv Gandhi administration. The UPA government sought him in criminal cases until the early 2009 when CBI acquitted him, prompting Interpol to remove the Red Corner Notice. The opposition has alleged Congress' involvement in the clean chit. Quattrocchi passed away in Milan, Italy on July 13, 2013, due to a stroke at the age of 74.
What Rahul Gandhi tweeted
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's tweet with a wordplay puzzle listed names including Adani, implying hidden truths and distractions in politics. He wrote, 'The truth is obscured; daily diversions are conjured. The question remains - Whose anonymous money is in Adani's companies?' alongside the list of names.

Antony's swift rebuttal
Following Rahul Gandhi's tweet, BJP's recent inductee Anil Antony answered back sharply. Antony criticized such tweeting by the former national party president and Congress' purported PM candidate, stating, "It's disheartening to see a national figure express himself like an online/social media troll rather than a national leader. It’s ironic to find my name alongside dignitaries who've contributed to nation-building for decades and had to leave the party because they choose to work for India and our people, not a single family."
Rahul sentenced by Surat court on March 23
It is noted that Rahul Gandhi was sentenced by a Surat court on March 23. He was found guilty in the 'Modi surname case' and sentenced to two years in prison. His parliamentary seat was subsequently revoked the following day. Rahul made a controversial comment about the Modi surname at an election rally in Karnataka on April 13, 2019, which led to BJP legislator Purnesh Modi filing a defamation case against him.
