India A vs Bangladesh A, Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025:

In the thrilling ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 semifinal on Friday (November 21), India-A clashed with Bangladesh-A. Held at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, the match concluded with Bangladesh's victory in a dramatic Super Over. Bangladesh-A will now face Pakistan Shaheens in the final.

Both India and Bangladesh posted identical scores of 194/6, leading to a Super Over. However, India failed to score, losing both wickets. Surprisingly, Jitesh Sharma and Ramandeep Singh were sent to bat despite Vaibhav Suryawanshi being in excellent form.

In the Super Over’s first delivery, Jitesh Sharma was bowled by Ripon Mondol. Ashutosh Sharma was caught on the second ball. Bangladesh then needed just 1 run to seal their victory. Despite Suyash Sharma taking Yasir Ali's wicket on the first ball, a wide on the next delivery gave Bangladesh the win.

The Innings of India:

The innings began with a bang for India as Vaibhav Suryawanshi and Priyansh Arya amassed 53 runs in 3.4 overs. Vaibhav scored a blazing 38 off 15 balls, smashing four sixes and two fours. Naman Dheer disappointed by only adding 7 runs. Priyansh shone with a rapid 44 off 23 balls, including three fours and four sixes.

Jitesh Sharma’s 33 runs and Nehal Wadhera’s unbeaten 32 pushed the game into the Super Over. With four runs needed off the last ball, poor fielding allowed Nehal Wadhera and Harsh Dubey to run three.

Batting first after losing the toss, Bangladesh-A scored 194/6. Opener Habibur Rahman Sohan contributed 65 off 46 balls, hitting three fours and five sixes. SM Mehrob was on fire with an unbeaten 48 off just 18 balls, featuring six sixes and a four. The last two overs saw Bangladesh add 50 runs to their total. For India-A, Gurjapneet Singh took two wickets. Ramandeep Singh, Naman Dheer, Suyash Sharma, and Harsh Dubey each took one wicket.

From Group A, Sri Lanka-A and Bangladesh-A advanced to the semifinals, while Pakistan Shaheens and India-A progressed from Group B.

Ranked second in Group B, India-A dominated UAE by 148 runs in their opening match. They were defeated by Pakistan Shaheens by 8 wickets but rebounded to overcome Oman by 6 wickets to reach the semifinals. The grand finale of this tournament is set for November 23 (Sunday).
