On his channel, Irfan Pathan remarked, "India played exceptional cricket against Pakistan, securing a convincing victory. However, the match was overshadowed by excessive aggression from the Pakistani side."
Post-match, Abhishek Sharma mentioned during the presentation that the comments made by Pakistani players were inappropriate. Consequently, both Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill took to social media, asserting, "You keep speaking, and we'll keep winning."

Pathan noted that our team would respond in kind. Even if it’s hard for older players to accept, let them be content with making shows using my name in neighboring countries, as it supports their earnings and livelihoods.
If you provoke us, we won't back down
Furthermore, Pathan stated that whether Pakistan wins or loses is irrelevant to us. Even when they lost to Zimbabwe in 2022, I did not comment. However, any provocation, whether from your side or another, will not be ignored. That has always been our principle.
Irfan reprimands Haris and Farhan

Both (Sahibzada and Rauf) show through their behavior where they come from and what they do. But never think you can misbehave, and we'll stay silent. This is the new India that won't stay silent."
