Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan vs Bangladesh Match:

The 17th match of Asia Cup 2025 saw a thrilling clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan on September 25th (Thursday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. In an exhilarating Super Four showdown, the Pakistani team claimed victory over Bangladesh by 11 runs, advancing to the finals.

Now, on September 28th (Sunday), Pakistan will meet India in the finals. For the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup, India and Pakistan will compete in the final. Bangladesh was set a target of 136 runs but managed to score just 124 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.

For Bangladesh, Shamim Hossain was the top scorer with 30 runs. Saif Hassan contributed 18 runs, Rishad Hossain remained unbeaten with 16 runs, and Nurul Hasan added 16 runs. On the bowling front, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf from Pakistan took three wickets each, while Saim Ayub picked up two wickets. Mohammad Nawaz also took a wicket.
