In a peculiar turn of events in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, a young man has experienced his sixth snake bite in just one and a half months. Fortunately, he has survived each encounter. The bewildering aspect is that despite seeking refuge at his aunt's and then his uncle's place, the snake seemingly followed and bit him again, much to the dismay of both his family and locals. Even the treating doctor is at a loss.
The entire episode unfolds in Saura village, within the Malwan police district. Vikas Dubey, aged 24, has been bitten not once or twice, but six times over the past month and a half. Each time, Vikas has recovered post treatment and is currently undergoing care at a private hospital, having been bitten for the sixth time just yesterday.
Vikas left his home hoping to evade the snake. First, the snake bit him at his
aunt's
place. Then, after moving to his uncle's house recently, the snake bit him there as well. Vikas and his family are now at a loss for what to do next.
Persistent Pursuer: The Snake

Vikas recounts the night of June 2nd, around 9 pm, when he felt the first snake bite as he stepped off his bed. His family quickly admitted him to a nearby private nursing home. After being discharged, he was bitten a second time on the night of June 10th. Following treatment, he returned home only to experience the terror yet again.
From Aunt to Uncle's House in Search of Safety
Not 20 days had passed before Vikas was bitten two additional times. Each time, he recovered post-treatment, which perplexed both relatives and the doctor. Their advice: stay away from home for a while to avoid further bites.
Vikas, distressed and perplexed, took their advice and moved to his aunt's house in Radhanagar. However, even there, the snake bit him for the fifth time on June 28th. Post-admission to the hospital, he recovered and went to stay at his uncle's house. But the snake did not let up, biting him for the sixth time last Sunday. Vikas is currently being treated at the hospital, and his condition is reportedly out of danger. His family is in shock over the recurring incidents.
Vikas claims to have faced the snake bites without fear and has confidently sought treatment each time. Regular as clockwork, he's bitten weekly, undergoes treatment, and recovers. The doctor notes each bite leaves new marks, and they continue to administer emergency anti-venom medication.
