The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the liquor scandal. Post the arrest, AAP's legal team has approached the Supreme Court. The Aam Aadmi Party has challenged the High Court's verdict in the apex court. Party leader Atishi stated that they've appealed against the ED's arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal, requesting an immediate hearing tonight. The Speaker of the Delhi Assembly affirmed that Kejriwal will not resign despite the arrest.
ED officials, numbering between six to eight, visited CM Kejriwal's residence to serve the 10th summons. Previously, Kejriwal had received nine summons from ED. On March 21st, the 10th summons was issued. Many officers of ACP rank were present at CM's residence. Following this, ED's Joint Director interrogated Kejriwal under the provisions of Section 50 of PMLA. During this time, there were suspicions that ED might arrest Kejriwal, leading to heightened security and barricading around his residence. The questioning lasted for approximately two hours.

Reactions from AAP Leaders on ED's Action
Amid these events, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj stated that no one was being allowed inside CM's residence, indicating that preparations were in place for Kejriwal's arrest. He suggested that the ED's actions appeared to be a raid on the CM's residence. Meanwhile, Punjab's CM Bhagwant Mann claimed that the BJP's political wing (ED) cannot imprison Kejriwal's thoughts, asserting that AAP is the only force that can confront the BJP. He emphasized that ideas cannot be suppressed.
AAP Claims: PM Fears Kejriwal
Following ED's team arriving at CM Kejriwal's residence, AAP claimed that PM Modi fears Kejriwal, who is the only alternative throughout the country. The party contended that you may arrest Kejriwal, but how will you detain the ideology that will arise in every city, village, and town?

Kejriwal Suffers Setback from High Court
It should be noted that on Thursday, the Delhi High Court delivered a major blow to CM Kejriwal, stating he has no immunity from arrest. Kejriwal had been avoiding ED's summons for questioning, seeking assurances from the court that he wouldn't be arrested if he complied. However, the court instructed that in response to the summons, Kejriwal must appear before ED, with no protection against arrest.
