Apple iPhone 16 Pro Series Launched: Bigger Display, New Button, New Processor, and More

On Monday night, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 Pro series, which includes two handsets: the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These handsets come with Apple Intelligence and the company has once again utilized titanium for the iPhone 16 Pro series.

The iPhone 16 Pro series is available in four color variants: Black, White, Natural, and the new Desert Titanium. Additionally, users will get new camera controls that promise a next-level experience.

The starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro in India is ₹1,19,900 with 128GB storage. The iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at ₹1,44,900 with a 256GB storage variant. Pre-orders will begin on September 13 and the device will be available starting September 20.

Apple claims that the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers the best battery life they have ever had. This time, the company has used a larger screen compared to the iPhone 15 Pro series launched last year.

The iPhone 16 Pro features a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max boasts a 6.9-inch display. Last year's iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max featured 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.

The iPhone 16 Pro series is powered by the A18 Pro chip with a 16-core Neural Engine. The company claims this chip offers exceptional performance, making it 15% faster than the iPhone 15 Pro.

The graphics in the iPhone 16 Pro series have also been enhanced with the use of a 6-core GPU, which is 20% faster than the iPhone 15 Pro.

The iPhone 16 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, including a 48MP fusion camera, a new 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP 5x telephoto camera. These models can record 4K video at 120fps.

The company has introduced a new Camera Control button, which not only makes it easy to turn on the camera and take photos but also to change modes.

Apple has also improved the audio hardware in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, incorporating four studio-quality microphones. This allows users to record spatial video along with spatial audio.
