Jilted Lover's Horrifying Revenge: Stabbed and Acid Attack

In Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh, an enraged lover launched a brutal attack on a 22-year-old woman, stabbing her repeatedly before throwing bathroom-cleaning acid on her. The incident occurred in Perampalli village on Friday morning at 7 AM, while the victim’s parents were away tending to livestock.

According to reports from a news agency, SP B. Krishna Rao mentioned that the assailant, Ganesh (24) from Madanapalle, was in a romantic relationship with the victim. However, she had recently become engaged to another person and had made it clear to Ganesh that she no longer wished to continue their relationship.

Lured Under a Pretext for a Horrific Attack

On Friday morning, the victim invited Ganesh over to her house for a final conversation. During their discussion, a heated argument ensued, leading Ganesh to stab her seven times in anger. He then threw acid on her, causing severe burns.

Accused on the Run, Police in Pursuit

Following the attack, Ganesh fled the scene. Police have formed special teams to capture him and are conducting raids at possible hideouts. After initial treatment at a local hospital, the victim was transferred to Bangalore for advanced care. Doctors report that her condition is critical due to the deep knife wounds and acid burns.

Chief Minister Orders Harsh Punishment

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly condemned the attack, instructing officials to ensure strict action against the accused. He also mandated comprehensive medical care for the victim, stating, 'The state government stands in solidarity with the victim and her family.'
