Jagdeep Dhankhar's sudden resignation on July 21 led to widespread political conjecture about his unforeseen departure. His letter to President Droupadi Murmu cited health concerns as his reason for stepping down, igniting various questions on social media about Dhankhar's whereabouts post-resignation.

Besides discussing Dhankhar, Amit Shah launched stringent critiques against Congress and the opposition, questioning their objections to the 130th Constitution Amendment bill. He raised piercing questions regarding Congress, Rahul Gandhi, and the opposition's political strategies.

Amit Shah's Jibe at the Opposition

The Home Minister sarcastically remarked about the opposition's perpetual attempts to govern by proxy, stating, "Even today, the opposition aims to run the government from behind bars. Their motive seems akin to turning prison into a CM House or PM House, dictating orders to DGPs, Chief Secretaries, or Cabinet Secretaries directly from there."

Accusations Against Rahul Gandhi

While pinpointing the Congress for opposing the 130th Amendment Bill, Shah directly accused Rahul Gandhi of double standards. He stated, "The ordinance by Manmohan Singh to save Lalu Yadav was torn up by Rahul Gandhi. If morality existed then, does it not now? Or perhaps, repeated electoral defeats have eroded it?"

Confidence in Bill's Passage

Amit Shah expressed unwavering confidence in the bill's enactment, declaring, "I am confident that there are many within Congress and the opposition who will stand for integrity and ethics." He also critiqued Rahul Gandhi's outreach programs, emphasizing, "There is a vast difference between managing an event and genuinely engaging with the public."
