A stunning case of neglect emerged from the Amethi district in Uttar Pradesh, where a DPC train designed for railway officials suffered a breakdown right between the tracks. Subsequently, railway workers were seen physically pushing the train from the main line to the loop line, and the footage has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place at the Nihalgarh railway station, where officials traveling from Sultanpur towards Lucknow found themselves at a halt. The malfunction on the main line caused a ripple effect, delaying several other trains. Despite numerous attempts, the DPC train could not be fixed.
Eventually, the railway staff, through sheer force, moved the DPC train off the main line and onto a loop line. This remarkable effort was captured on video and shared widely on social media. The video shows how individuals worked collectively to move the train, watched on by local bystanders.
The RPFO Inspector R.S. Sharma commented on the situation, stating, "This is the DPC train used by officials for inspections. It broke down near Nihalgarh station yesterday. After which, our staff managed to push it to the station, repaired the faults, and then sent it on its way."
