The Iran-Israeli conflict has witnessed America's strategic entry. Targeting the nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, American forces executed expertly coordinated air raids. Bombs were meticulously dropped by US military personnel on these locations, eliciting a fierce response from Iran. An Iranian state TV commentator starkly mentioned that every American civilian or soldier in the region is now under threat from Iran.

Confirming the attack on the social media platform, Truth Social, US President Donald Trump stated that the operation was an overwhelming success. The three targeted nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—were effectively and precisely dealt with.

Post-attack, Trump announced that he would address the nation from the White House at 10 PM EST, shedding light on the objectives and strategic plans ensuing the attack.

He elaborated that compared to Natanz and Isfahan, Fordow saw a heavier bombardment. He congratulated the valiant warriors, asserting, 'No other military in the world has this capability. Now, it is time for peace! Thank you for your attention.' In another post, Trump remarked, 'Fordow is gone.'

'They must stop immediately'

Furthermore, in a phone interview with Reuters news agency, Trump asserted that Iran should establish peace without hesitation. They need to stop immediately, or they will witness another shock.

Trump's comments reflect that if Iran does not engage in dialogues, further attacks on its nuclear sites could follow.

According to sources, Trump perceives this offensive as necessary to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions and bring them to the negotiating table.

Use of B-2 Bombers in the Strike

Reports state that America employed its advanced B-2 stealth bombers, known for carrying 30,000-pound 'bunker buster' bombs (GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator), designed to destroy deeply embedded facilities like Fordow, nestled 80-90 meters beneath a mountain.

US officials indicated this strike unfolded on the ninth day of the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, rooting back to Israeli strikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites on 13th June 2025. Israel asserts its campaign aims to halt Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Trump, last week, indicated he was contemplating US involvement in Israel's assaults and promised a decision within two weeks, marking the strike as somewhat unexpected.

Iran's Strong Reaction

Though Iranian authorities have not officially commented on the strike's impact, three senior officials noted that the bombing occurred at 2:30 AM local time over Fordow and Natanz. An Iranian state TV commentator remarked that every American national or soldier in the region is now a target for Iran.

Meanwhile, Raphael Grossi, Chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), initially stated that Israeli strikes left Fordow unscathed while the effects of the US strike remain unclear.
