The actor has now returned home to his family, where he expressed heartfelt thanks to his fans for their love and support.
What did Allu Arjun say after leaving jail?
Upon exiting jail, Allu Arjun spoke to the media. He stated, 'There is no need to worry. I am fine. I have complete faith in the law. The case is ongoing in court, so I will refrain from commenting. I am a law-abiding citizen and will fully cooperate with the police.'
'My condolences are with the family of the woman who lost her life. It was an unfortunate incident. I am here to assist the family in any possible way. Thank you for everyone's love and support. I am here today because of your support. I want to thank my fans.'
Where did Allu Arjun go first after release?
Before heading home, Allu Arjun visited the office of Geetha Arts after leaving jail. Geetha Arts is one of South India's largest and most popular film production and distribution companies, founded by Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, in 1972. The actor himself also plays a part in its operations. After visiting his production house, Allu went straight home to his family, where security had already been beefed up.
Why was Allu Arjun arrested?
It is reported that a woman lost her life due to a stampede during a special screening of 'Pushpa 2' at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4. In connection with this incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on the night of December 13 and was sent to Chanchalguda Central Jail on a 14-day remand.
Later, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on a personal bond of ₹50,000. However, he had to spend the night in jail because, allegedly, the bail order's copies were not uploaded online, forcing the actor to stay overnight behind bars.
His lawyer, Ashok Reddy, criticized the Hyderabad jail authorities for not complying with the bail order. The lawyer noted, 'The Hyderabad police and Chanchalguda Jail administration had received the bail order copy from the High Court the previous day, which clearly directed the jail superintendent to release Allu Arjun immediately. The superintendent also instructed his release, but the jail administration failed to do so. This was an illegal detention, and they have to answer for it. We will take legal action.'
Regarding Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', it has ushered in a new wave of excitement in cinemas. The film is breaking records at the box office, and there's an unmatched craze among the audience.
