The police are on the lookout for Anita Devi, a middle-aged resident of Aligarh, suspected of fleeing with cash and jewelry alongside her prospective son-in-law. Soon to be wed, Shivani's world has been turned upside down by her mother's actions, leaving the family scandalized and frequenting the local police station. Despite the turmoil, Shivani insists that any relationship with her mother is irreparable but implores the authorities to retrieve her father's hard-earned money, which her mother absconded with.
Shivani openly declared her disassociation from her mother, emphasizing the urgency of recovering their wealth. The family was to celebrate Shivani's wedding on April 16, but amidst preparations, Anita's heart was swayed by her future son-in-law, Rahul. Over three lakh in cash and a stockpile of jewelry worth five lakh were in the house, all of which vanished as Anita made her defiant escape, not even sparing ten rupees for the household.
Shivani's nuptial festivities were scheduled to proceded from Dadon to the Madarak area. Tragically, moments of joy were replaced by shock as the family was left in distress upon hearing of Anita's elopement with Rahul. Law enforcement continues to scour the leads but to no avail thus far, with the couple successfully evading discovery.

The distraught husband, Jitendra, lodged a missing person report with the police detailing the alleged theft of more than two and a half lakh rupees and multiple pieces of valuable jewelry—belonging to their daughter Shivani—from their home by Anita. Shivani too made a heartfelt plea to the authorities, demanding that justice be served and the dignity of their family restored by reclaiming the misappropriated funds.
Meanwhile, Rahul, the absconded son-in-law, brazenly threatened Jitendra over the phone, insisting that Anita had been mistreated and advising him to forget her. Aligarh law enforcement, alongside surveillance teams, remains in relentless pursuit of the pair. Police believe they might have sought refuge in Uttarakhand, possibly in Rudrapur where Rahul is known to have worked. Coordination with local law enforcement and analysis of call detail records and surveillance data are ongoing as part of the operation to apprehend them.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Mahesh Kumar reported that efforts to track down the fugitive woman and her accomplice, absconded from Madarak station area, continue vigorously. Her husband has duly registered a missing person complaint. Authorities are scrutinizing leads in Uttarakhand, as Rahul previously held a job there, hoping for breakthroughs in their investigation.
