After onboarding young leaders into the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav reflected on the enthusiasm of youth joining his ranks. He pointed out their insight into the BJP governments' continuous letdowns at state and central levels. Additionally, he touched upon the Jauhar University issue, vowing to further enhance the institution’s magnificence under his administration. He maintained that the current government’s opposition to the 'Tandav' series is a mere distraction from real issues.
Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of seizing Jauhar Ali University land for political gain. He promises to uplift the university to new heights should his administration return. He raised concerns over the privatization of institutions and the reduction in government jobs, which he claimed has been a constant under the BJP government, leaving the youth anxious about their future.
He highlighted the politicization of educational establishments and the imposition of the National Security Act to suppress young voices. He called for enabling the youth to shape a healthy political climate. Yadav’s comments underscore the vibrancy of youth involvement, questioning the political narrative in Uttar Pradesh.
In a jibe at the BJP, Yadav remarked on the criminal cases against UP's Chief and Deputy Chief Ministers, claiming they are top rankers in renaming initiatives and inaugurating others' projects. He criticized the UP government for cases of bootleg liquor deaths and political spite, labelling the BJP as champion deceivers. During this time, he also cited various statistics.
Addressing national security, Yadav condemned the BJP's failure to counter Chinese border incursions. He accused them of misusing the National Security Agency and voiced solidarity with farmers’ demands, urging the government to seize the opportunity to agree on them during the Republic Day.
As for the 'Tandav' series controversy, Yadav believes the BJP is deliberately engaging in such disputes to avoid answering for unemployment and farmer issues. His accusations suggest that the government's tactic is to distract the public so they cannot raise their concerns adequately.
Responding to Yadav's statistics on UP ranking number one in certain areas, BJP spokesperson Dr. Chandramohan retorted with a timeline, saying that the data reflected the period before 2017. He claimed UP was top in crime during the SP government but has now progressed under Yogi Adityanath’s rule. Chandramohan dismissed the need for SP's certification, citing public approval of Adityanath’s works in the 2019 general and by-elections while indicating that SP's reflection is outdated.
