Today marks the beginning of the AI Impact Summit in India's capital, New Delhi. Running until February 20, this prestigious event will take place at the Bharat Mandapam and welcome leaders from across the globe — including presidents, vice-presidents, prime ministers, and CEOs of leading AI companies.

India aims to assert its strength and responsibility in AI at the AI Impact Summit. A campaign will be launched to take the AI Pledge, and the most people in a 24-hour period will participate to achieve a Guinness World Record.

Dialogue on AI Governance

Conversations on AI governance will be a key focus at the AI Impact Summit. Understanding how AI affects citizens and legal frameworks is crucial, and discussions will address preparation, reducing bias, ensuring data privacy and security, and complying with legal regulations.

Global Presence of Leaders

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirms that presidents from several countries, two vice-presidents, nine prime ministers, and CEOs from major tech firms will attend the event starting February 16.
