In a startling turn of events in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a public transport bus suffered a catastrophic brake failure near the Jodhpur intersection, leading to a dramatic chain of collisions that damaged eight vehicles. The bus, belonging to the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS), became uncontrollable, resulting in injuries to four individuals. Authorities from the Ahmedabad traffic police immediately took the bus driver into custody and began legal proceedings.

The AMTS bus, with vehicle number GJ01 KT 0952, was traveling from Ghuma to Hatkeshwar. Reports indicate that it experienced brake failure close to the Star Market by Jodhpur crossroads.

Subsequently, the uncontrolled bus collided with one vehicle after another, resulting in injuries to three people in an Ertiga car and one on a motorcycle. The injured were promptly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
