The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now summoned Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Durgesh Pathak in relation to the Delhi liquor policy scam. Pathak, who was in charge of the party during the Goa Assembly elections, has been called in for questioning today. Representing Rajinder Nagar, he has been associated with the party since its inception after the 2012 Ramlila Maidan event. The agency has previously interrogated the AAP legislator in this case.

In the ongoing investigation into the Delhi liquor policy case, the ED is currently questioning Arvind Kejriwal's Personal Assistant (PA), Bibhav Kumar. Following this, Durgesh Pathak was summoned. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 by the agency, who regards him as the 'kingpin' in the alleged scam.

Following the arrest of CM Kejriwal, AAP legislator and minister in the Delhi government, Atishi, expressed concerns at a press conference that ED might also arrest Pathak. She had voiced fears about her own arrest, along with three other party leaders, including Saurabh Bhardwaj and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha.

In the Delhi liquor policy scandal, not only the Chief Minister but also senior AAP leaders such as Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and former Health Minister Satyendra Jain are currently incarcerated. AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, after being granted bail by the Supreme Court, was released from jail after six months. Several other AAP leaders related to the liquor policy case remain on the radar of ED, leading to raids at various locations in recent times.
