Bollywood's very own 'Mr. Perfectionist', Aamir Khan, after being screen-shy for years, has finally begun shooting his new film 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. Taking to Instagram live recently from the film's set, Aamir shared a heartfelt conversation with his fans and even answered some of their burning questions. But the interaction took a twist when a few trolls decided to stir the pot.
Aamir Responds to Trolls
While reading aloud fans' comments live, Aamir came across a jarring suggestion that he needed to change his stylist. Taken aback, Aamir swiftly responded, 'What I'm wearing looks pretty good, doesn't it? My style might be unique so it's not everyone's cup of tea.'
A troll then accused Aamir of drug use, to which the visibly shocked actor retorted, 'What are you talking about, friend?'
The live chat also saw brief appearances by 'Sitaare Zameen Par's director RS Prasanna, and music director Ehsaan Noorani. Many fans were eager for more film details, but their curiosity remained unsatisfied.
When is 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Releasing?
Aamir let slip that this film is set for Christmas release. He assured that 'Sitaare Zameen Par' will be far superior and on another level compared to his 2008 hit, 'Taare Zameen Par'. He promised laughter and entertainment, clarifying that this film is neither a sequel nor related in storyline to the earlier film.
On the professional front, Aamir was last seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha' which released in theaters in 2022. Despite later streaming online, it saw lukewarm response and was deemed unsuccessful at the box office.
