Pakistan cricket team’s all-rounder Imad Wasim has made a significant revelation about his personal life. On Monday night, he took to social media to announce his marriage to a woman named Nayla, less than two months after sharing the news of the end of his first marriage. Notably, Imad announced his marriage shortly after Pakistan's loss to India in the T20 World Cup.
In an extensive post on his official Instagram account, Imad shared that he has endured one of the toughest phases of his life. He mentioned that even though his first marriage didn’t succeed, it blessed him with children whom he regards as his greatest joy in life.
He admitted that he held onto the hope for too long and made decisions he now regrets. Imad expressed that his silence and delay caused an innocent person to face criticism, for which he takes full responsibility.
The cricketer shared that with Allah's mercy and guidance from his parents, he has wed a woman named Nayla. First Wife Levels Serious Allegations
Imad's announcement comes after he shared the news of his divorce at the end of December, citing long-standing differences as the reason for their separation.
However, his first wife, Sania Ashfaq, offers a completely different picture. She alleged that the presence of a 'third person' was the final reason for their marriage ending. Ashfaq noted she is a mother to three children, including a five-month-old infant who, she claims, hasn’t been held by his father yet.
She claimed she did everything possible to save the marriage but it allegedly ended due to the interference of a third party. Ashfaq also leveled allegations of emotional abuse, neglect, and being left alone during pregnancy, stating she possesses evidence to support her claims.
