He has made an impressive jump of 25 places to become the number 1 T20 International format bowler. Meanwhile, England’s legendary leg-spinner Adil Rashid has reclaimed the throne as the number 1 bowler.

England’s spin maestro Adil Rashid was rewarded for his recent stellar form in the ICC T20 bowling rankings. Rashid secured the top spot for the first time in the T20 International bowlers' rankings by the end of 2023. He spent most of last year at the top, except when Akeal Hosein overtook him just before Christmas.
The talented spinner Adil Rashid gained a place in the latest rankings following his brilliant performance against Team India in the third T20 International match at Rajkot on January 28. Rashid’s economical figures of 1/15 in his four overs helped England secure a 26-run victory, keeping the series alive. The 36-year-old has claimed a total of three wickets in the first three matches of the five-match series, with India currently leading 2-1.
