In Varanasi, a shocking revelation has come to light in the case involving the murder of businessman Rajendra Gupta and his entire family. Rajendra's elderly mother, Sharda Devi, shared some crucial information regarding the incident in an interview with 'AajTak', shedding light on this tragic case. According to the senior Sharda, Rajendra's nephew would often discuss plans to murder his uncle (Rajendra Gupta) due to past grievances. Allegedly, 28 years ago, Rajendra was accused of killing Vicky's parents.

Sharda Devi pleaded with Vicky to drop his murderous thoughts, clasping her hands in a desperate plea. Despite her efforts, Vicky was unmoved, leading to the annihilation of Rajendra's family over old enmities and property disputes.

What is particularly disturbing is that Rajendra's daughter, Gorangi, and Vicky's cousin, was murdered on Tuesday. Just the day before, on Bhai Dooj, Vicky accepted sweets from her hands and received the ceremonial mark. At that time, he appeared to be on friendly terms with Rajendra's family, without anyone suspecting the impending horror.

Sharda Devi recounted that on Diwali, Rajendra's late brother's elder son, known as Vicky, confessed his grudge against Rajendra, believing he was responsible for his parent's deaths and vowed not to spare him. Despite Sharda's heartfelt entreaty to spare her only son for her final rites, tragedy struck.

Sharda Devi revealed that Vicky's younger brother, Prashant, also known as Jugnu, appeared more amiable and visited after the murders, only to be later taken by the police. She further explained that on Bhai Dooj, Rajendra's daughter, Gorangi, performed the ceremonial rites for all her brothers, including Vicky, just before the incident unfolded. Since then, Vicky has been elusive.

She also mentioned that Rajendra and his elder son often beat Vicky, allegedly saying they'd kill him like his parents were killed. When Vicky demanded a share of the house, Rajendra refused, offering only a job with 20,000 rupees monthly. This refusal possibly incited Vicky to think of claiming everything as had happened to his parents.

Rajendra shocked many with the revelation that he was married twice. His first wife lived separately in Asansol, West Bengal, and they shared a son, but they had ceased visits to the family home long ago. Later, Rajendra wed Neetu, a girl from a Brahmin family, whom he deeply loved, resulting in three children.

Meanwhile, Rajendra's nephew, Prashant Gupta, or Vicky, approximately 32-33 years old, stayed at his uncle's home for his education. Contrary to others, he accused Rajendra of his parent's murders. Despite attending a good school and graduating from BHU, Vicky has been described as cunning and promising. As of now, he remains at large, eluding police capture.
