Kalindi Express Conspiracy: 300 Officers on the Case, NIA and IB Conducting Village Raids

300 officers from the police and various investigative agencies are working relentlessly to uncover the conspiracy to derail the Kalindi Express in Kanpur. The NIA, IB, GRP, ATS, and STF are conducting raids in villages, but no concrete clues have been found yet.

To expose the conspiracy to derail the Kalindi Express, six police teams, forensic teams from Kanpur and Lucknow, LIU, IB, NIA, GRP, and RPF are on the case. Altogether, 300 people are involved in these teams. Moreover, 54 police officers have inspected the crime scene. However, no solid evidence has been found yet.

The forensic team has sent 10 samples for analysis. Meanwhile, the UP STF has cast a net around nearby villages. The STF and the police have conducted raids in 7 villages including Nawada, Munderi, and Kanthi Nawada. Meanwhile, NIA and ATS teams are monitoring the activities of banned organizations in the area.

Interrogation of Prisoners

The ATS team has interrogated terrorists detained in Lucknow jail. Several terrorists imprisoned in various jails are being questioned in connection with the Kalindi Express case. On Wednesday, the officers from NIA, ATS, and STF questioned the inmates in Kanpur and Lucknow jails. They have also checked the details of the visitors who came to meet the inmates and have taken related documents into their custody.

Train Derailing Conspiracy Near Kanpur

On the night of September 8, a conspiracy was hatched to derail the Kalindi Express, which was traveling from Prayagraj to Bhiwani, near Kanpur. Miscreants placed LPG cylinders, petrol, and explosives on the track. After colliding with the train, the cylinder was thrown off the track. The police and investigative agencies recovered gas cylinders, petrol bottles, and explosives from around the track.
