In a historic decision within the Central Hall of Parliament on Friday, Narendra Modi was unanimously elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The name of Modi was first proposed by senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh, followed by an endorsement from all alliance partners.
During the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting,

presented the proposal which was passed unanimously. Highlights of the event included the presence of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Rajnath Singh, the BJP MP, took a moment to congratulate all the newly elected MPs during his address, saying, 'I want to congratulate all the newly elected Members of Parliament. Today we have gathered here to nominate a leader for the NDA, and I firmly believe that the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most apt for all these positions.'
Supporting the proposal to name Narendra Modi as the NDA's Parliamentary Party leader,

declared that this proposal reflects not just the desires of those seated here but represents the wish of 1.4 billion people across the nation. He claimed that the nation's voice is clear - Prime Minister Modi should lead the country for the next five years.

He recounted his observations from the election campaign, where PM Modi never rested for three months and campaigned day and night. Naidu emphasized how certain meetings and rallies in Andhra Pradesh made a significant difference in winning the elections. 'PM Modi is working for the country, and he has our full support,' added Naidu.

, expressing support from JD(U) for Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister, remarked, 'He has served as Prime Minister for ten years and is going to be re-elected. We have complete conviction that he will fulfill any remaining promises in his next term.'
