In Bihar's East Champaran, the grand Ramayana Temple is ready to welcome a truly spectacular Shiva Lingam. Standing at 33 feet and weighing around 210 metric tons, this lingam was meticulously crafted in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Now, it's en route to Bihar via a specialized 96-wheeled truck, expected to reach the temple grounds within 20-25 days.

Before its departure, a ceremonial prayer was held to bless this sacred object. The creation of this Shiva Lingam demanded a decade of dedication and an investment of nearly 30 million rupees. As the new year commences, this majestic lingam will be installed within the temple, marking a new chapter in religious architecture as India's largest Shiva Lingam.

The grand Ramayana Temple is rising in Chakya, East Champaran, approximately 120 kilometers from Patna. The temple promises to be immense, with dimensions of 1,080 feet in length and 540 feet in width. It will feature 18 towers and 22 smaller temples, with the tallest tower soaring to 270 feet.

The Mahavir Mandir Trust Committee is overseeing this magnificent construction. They've already laid the foundations for the entrance gateway, the main lion gateway, the Ganesh area, the Nandi statue, the Shiva Lingam, and the sanctum sanctorum.

This temple is set to transform Bihar into a leading center for religious tourism. The entire project is a realization of the visionary dream of Acharya Kishore Kunal, and continuous efforts are ensuring its timely completion. By enhancing Bihar's cultural and religious heritage, this monumental temple will solidify the state's identity.
