Suryakumar Yadav, the exciting captain of the Indian T20 team, is more than just passionate about tattoos. His body, hands, and arms speak of his love for ink, with over 20 tattoos spread across his skin. Recently, in an open interview, he addressed whether the World Cup victory called for some new ink.
During his feature at the India Today Conclave on March 8, Suryakumar shared his thoughts. His wife, Devisha Shetty, has placed a specific condition against getting more tattoos that he's been quite transparent about.
Has there been an increase in the number of tattoos post the T20 World Cup win? At the conclave, Suryakumar candidly shared, “The count remains unchanged—it’s a married life reality. My wife doesn't permit it anymore, and she's firm against any new additions.”
He added with a chuckle, “Post our 2024 World Cup triumph, I petitioned to get something meaningful inked on my hand. However, her response was anticipated, she said another World Cup (2026) is on its way; create something meaningful and then get tattooed.”
