A shocking incident occurred a few steps away from a police station in Southern Kanpur late at night. Two robbers on a bike executed a loot on a grain trader and then fled the scene. Upon learning of the incident, senior police officials reached the spot with the police force. The police forces from three stations have been mobilized for investigation.

As per reports, Anshul Gupta, a prominent grain trader residing in Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur, was returning home. Near Babupurwa Police Station, bikers approached from behind and stopped him under the pretext of an accident. Before Anshul could understand, the robbers pushed him, grabbed his bag filled with cash, and fled.

The victim, Anshul Gupta, stated that the bag contained Rs 3.5 lakh in cash, some documents, and a few bills from his shop. Terrified by the incident, Anshul quickly dialed 112 to report to the control room.

Following the report, DCP South Ankita Sharma, ACP Babupurwa Anjali Vishwakarma, along with the police force from three circles, arrived at the scene for a thorough investigation.

The robbery occurred just a few steps behind a police picket. Ahead, just a few more steps, is the Babupurwa police station. Currently, a case has been registered, and the investigations have commenced based on the victim's complaint.
