Vanga tweeted, 'The 30 art films you trusted didn't bring you the fame a single blockbuster film you regret did. I too regret casting you, realizing your greed overshadows your passion. Now, to save you from embarrassment, I will replace your face with AI. Smile now.'

What did Adil Hussain say?

On the A.P. Podcast YouTube channel, Adil Hussain called 'Kabir Singh' a 'misogynist' film, which made him feel diminished as a human. Addressing director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's rights to make the film of his choosing, Hussain stated his clear disagreement with its content.

Hussain said, 'I think it's a movie that celebrates things not beneficial for society. It justifies misogyny, not just against women but also promotes violence in general. And it celebrates that, glorifies it, though it shouldn't.' He also feared his wife's reaction if she ever watched it, saying, 'She will be very angry if she sees it.'

Hussain shared that he had agreed to the film without reading the script and only after liking the scene that was presented to him. He later tried to watch 'Kabir Singh' in the theaters, only to leave within 20 minutes. 'Till today, I regret it. The only film that I regret doing... Kabir Singh,' Hussain confessed.

He appreciated the scene and thought the film would be good. 'I went to watch it and thought, what am I doing here? You have no idea how embarrassed I felt.'
