In Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, security forces have obliterated the house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Farooq Ahmad with explosives. Farooq is currently residing in Pakistan, from where he manages his operations. This marks the sixth major operation following the Pahalgam attack.
Besides Farooq, the residences of several other terrorists have been demolished by the security forces: Adil Ahmad Thoker from Thokerpora in Anantnag, Ehsan Ul Haq Sheikh from Murran in Pulwama, Asif Ahmad Sheikh from Tral, Shahid Ahmad Kuttay from Chotipora in Shopian, and Zahid Ahmad Gani from Matlahama in Kulgam.
Security forces remain firm in their resolve against terrorism and its supporters. They also urge local residents to maintain peace and cooperation.
On Friday, security forces dismantled the homes of two terrorists believed to be involved in the Pahalgam attack. The house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Adil Hussain Thoker in Bijbehara was blown up with an IED, while a bulldozer was used to raze Asif Sheikh’s home in Tral.

Terrorist Thoker Trained in Pakistan
Officials suspect Adil Thoker of aiding Pakistani terrorists in an attack on the Baisaran Valley. It's reported that in 2018, Thoker infiltrated Pakistan through the Punjab's Attari-Wagah border, where he underwent training in terrorist camps. Last year, he re-entered Jammu & Kashmir.
20 Lakh Reward Announced by Police
Anantnag police have announced a reward of 20 lakh rupees for information leading to the capture of Thoker and two Pakistani nationals, Ali Bhai and Hashim Musa, responsible for a recent terror attack. Sketches of the suspects have been released as security forces intensify their search.
