A serious incident unfolded late Wednesday night on the streets of Alwar city. Near Bijli Chowk, some youths brutally attacked a roadways bus driver and also vandalized the bus. This entire incident occurred on the street, and onlookers recorded videos that quickly went viral on social media. Upon learning about the incident, the police reached the scene to commence their investigation.

Driver Pritam was returning to Alwar from Delhi. He reported that near the Bijli House intersection, a youth on a scooter was persistently stunting in front of the bus. Two girls were seated on the scooter alongside the youth. Several times, the scooter barely avoided colliding with the bus. In response, Pritam halted the bus to advise the youth not to perform stunts in front of it. The youth did not heed the warning, and the situation escalated, leading Pritam to slap him.

After being slapped, the scooter-riding youth called his friends. Within minutes, about eight youths arrived on the scene. Subsequently, they attacked Pritam with sticks and iron rods. The accused knocked him to the ground and assaulted him repeatedly. During this time, they also shattered the bus windows. After the altercation, all the youths fled the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Kotwali police, Akhepur police, and Chetak team arrived at the location. Based on the complaint from the injured driver, a case has been registered. Police are identifying the accused from the video footage and continue their search.

Youths Beat Bus Driver for Protesting

The bus was returning to Alwar via Delhi. During the incident, a crowd gathered around. People made various videos of the assault, now rapidly spreading across social media platforms. The police conveyed that based on the videos and witnesses, strict action will be taken against the attackers.
