Russian President Vladimir Putin engaged in a nearly five-hour closed-door conversation with American special envoy Steve Witkoff and senior advisor to President Trump, Jared Kushner. Ushakov added that the U.S. introduced new proposals, though Russia perceived no potential for compromises there.

Accusations Against Europe for Disrupting Peace Processes

Earlier, Putin launched a critical attack on European countries, accusing them of proposing measures "engineered to destroy the entire peace process." Putin elaborated, "They stand on the side of war, and their proposals are utterly unacceptable for Russia."

Furthermore, Putin warned NATO countries, suggesting that if Europe ignites a conflict with Russia, the ramifications "would be swift, leaving no party for Russia to converse with."
