Maharashtra's former minister and NCP leader Eknath Khadse's son-in-law, Pranjal Khewalkar, is embroiled in controversy for capturing a woman's photos and videos without permission in Pune. According to the report filed at the cyber police station, the woman alleged that Khewalkar took her pictures and shot videos without her consent.
According to police officials, a case has been registered against Pranjal Khewalkar under Section 66E of the Information Technology Act and Section 77 of the Indian Penal Code. In fact, Khewalkar, husband of Khadse's daughter Rohini Khadse, has been in prison since July 27 after being arrested with others following a raid on a flat in Kharadi area. Police had claimed that a 'drug party' was taking place there.

Responding to the case, Maharashtra State Women's Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar indicated more such instances might surface. She alleged this could potentially be the largest 'sex racket' in the state. She urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the safety and justice for the victimized women.
Currently, the police are examining the victim's statements and digital evidence. Given the severity of the matter, it is anticipated that more complaints could be lodged in the coming days. Officials have stated that other aspects related to Khewalkar, including his network and former activities, are under scrutiny.
