In Maharashtra, senior leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are engrossed in discussions over Lok Sabha seat sharing. Amidst talks, the founder of NCP, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, and Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat meet Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) head Prakash Ambedkar to strategize against the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance and deliberate upon their coalition's future prospects.
Prakash Ambedkar stood firm in his demand for 17 Lok Sabha seats during the extensive meeting. Post-meeting discussions at a five-star Mumbai hotel pointed towards a stiff dialogue between the MVA leaders. Prakash Ambedkar has set his sights on seats including Akola, Dindori, Ramtek, Amravati, and one in Mumbai.
VBA spokesperson Siddharth Mokale conveyed that Ambedkar raised concerns over rumors of some MVA alliance partners negotiating with the BJP. The VBA strictly opposes such duplicity and will not tolerate any post-election disturbances caused by such actions. Ambedkar demanded a written commitment from all alliance partners to refrain from any post-election deal with the BJP.

NCP leader Jitendra Awhad clarified their resolute stance to rope Ambedkar into the conversation till the last word. He rejected all accusations or rumors of covert negotiations with any ruling alliance members. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut also mentioned an optimistic dialogue and forecasted a soon-to-be-reached consensus on seat sharing. MVA leaders assured Ambedkar that they would further deliberate upon his proposal, planning another meeting on March 9 to finalize upon the seat distribution.

According to PTI, NCP leader Anil Deshmukh expressed that there is no rift among the coalition members. A decision will be announced soon, indicating unanimous dialogue and absence of discord. Deshmukh reinforced the coalition's intention to incorporate Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and believed in Ambedkar's positive response.
